Winners

“The ’90s” was the theme for the 64th annual competition, the culmination of Youngstown State University Greek activities for the school year, which took place Saturday at Stambaugh Auditorium. Nine sororities and fraternities and four open-class groups participated.

Open Class winner

Panhellenic Seniors from several sororities: Hallie McGee, Ashley Milligan, Gina Mancini, Abby Vitus, Gianna Marinucci, Elizabeth Cordell, Allison English, Luray Hixson, Abbey Kunce and Maria Kenne, singing “World Championship Finale” by The Barden Bellas and “Flashlight” by Jessie J.

Open Class runner-up

Sarah Gleydura, Jessica Hirsh, and Rebecca Potkanowicz from Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, singing “Part of Setting Fire to the Wrecking Ball” by Adele, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry.

Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, singing “The Sign” by Ace of Base, “Mambo No. 5” by Lou Bega, “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched, “Livin’ La Vida Loca” by Ricky Martin, “S Club Party” by S Club 7 and “Hold On” by Wilson Phillips.

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, singing “Baby Got Back” by Sir-Mix-A-Lot, “Tearin’ Up My Heart” by NSYNC, “…Baby One More Time” by Britney Spears, and “Jump On It” by Sir-Mix-A-Lot.

Fraternity Formal Class winner

Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, singing “Ice Ice Baby” by Vanilla Ice, “O.P.P.” by Naughty by Nature, “Motownphilly” by Boyz II Men, “Hip Hop Hooray” by Naughty by Nature, “Hit ‘Em High” by Busta Rhymes and “Ninja Rap” by Vanilla Ice.

Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity, singing “I’ll Make A Man Out of You” by Donny Osmond, “I Just Can’t Wait to be King” by Elton John, “A Whole New World” by Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle, “Zero to Hero” by Lillias White, “Two Worlds” by Phil Collins, and “Be Our Guest” by Jerry Orbach.
