Yost fraud detection training session set for Tuesday

CANFIELD — Auditor Dave Yost will host the third of seven fraud prevention and detection training for local government officials from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center.

The free, two-hour training will provide officials with the knowledge and tools they need to avoid falling victim to fraud.

Session topics include identifying warning signs of potential fraud, the best practices and controls to prevent fraud and management techniques to promote accountability and transparency.
