Tri-Gold Primetime ABWA Chapter to celebrate 12th year

CANFIELD

Tri-Gold Primetime Chapter of American Business Women’s Association will celebrate its 12th anniversary when it meets Tuesday at A La Cart Catering.

The event will begin with a social at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6.

The Tri-Gold Chapter was formed by two previous chapters, Tri-County and Gold Torch, when both experienced declining memberships. Many of those who remained active had been members for more than 25 years and wanted to continue the chapters’ efforts in raising money for the education fund.

The chapter is working on plans for its annual basket auction scheduled for April 23 to raise funds to provide scholarships for local students.
