Raising funds for Akron Children’s

BOARDMAN

Proceeds from a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital fundraising campaign Monday through July 2 at local Chico’s and White House Black Market stores will benefit Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley.

During the campaign, customers may make a donation at the register to purchase a paper balloon.

Additionally, each store will have specially designed necklaces available for sale, the proceeds from which will benefit the hospital.

Participating stores are the Chico’s at 813 Boardman-Poland Road in Boardman and the Chico’s and White House Black Market stores at the Grove City Outlets.

Chico’s and White House Black Market raised $3,900 in 2015 for Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley, and more than $13,500 since the campaign first started four years ago. The national campaign raised $1.9 million last year.
