Eastern Ohio Conservation Club, 10366 West Calla Road, is having a free hunter safety class from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Sunday.
A light breakfast and lunch will be provided by the club. Limit is 30 students.
To register, go to the Ohio Division of Wildlife website, http://wildlife.ohiodnr.gov, and click on the Program tab, then Classes, and Hunter & Trapper Education.

The Hubbard Conservation Club, 1760 Wick Campbell Road, and Ohio Department of Natural Resources are offering a free hunters education clinic from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
A certificate will be issued for attending all three evenings, which can be utilized in many states, especially out west when it is required for hunting.

Lowellville gun show

The Mahoning Valley Gun Collectors will have a spring gun show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. next Saturday and April 17 at the Lowellville Rod and Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road.
Admission is $4. The public is invited to buy, sell and trade guns, knives and military collectibles.
All firearms must be unloaded and are subject to inspection before entering. For more information, call 330-506-9194.

CCW class
Hubbard
The Hubbard Conservation Club, 1760 Wick Campbell Road, and United Veterans CCW will have a basic pistol class from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 23.
The class will qualify students to apply for their Ohio concealed carry handgun license.
Cost is $95 per person or $180 per couple and includes all NRA materials, use of target pistols, ammunition, and eye and ear protection. Light snacks and lunch will be offered.

Crappie tournament
The Pymatuning Lake Association will host a crappie tournament April 30. Weigh-in and late registration is from 6 to 8 a.m. at the Espyville boat launch (southeast side of the causeway.)
Entry fee per team is $45 ($5 late fee). Forms should be mailed by April 21. Weigh-in ends at 3:30 p.m.
