UPDATE | Homicide victims identified in Liberty Township

Police have released the names of a man and a woman found dead in a Frederick Street apartment late Thursday.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire shortly before midnight and found Jesse Cooper, 62, of Frederick Street and Gloria Khoury, 39, of Logan Avenue dead in the apartment.

The case is being investigated as a homicide.

The Liberty Police Department, the Trumbull County Coroner's Office, the Trumbull County Homicide Task Force and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are involved with the investigation, Tisone said.
