Mineral Ridge hydrant flushing continues next week

MINERAL RIDGE — The Trumbull County sanitary engineers will continue flushing fire hydrants in the Mineral Ridge Water District from Monday through Friday.

The flushing improves water quality by removing stagnant water, sediment and excessive mineral deposits from the inside walls of the water mains, and discharging them out of the system through fire hydrants, according to a sanitary engineer’s office news release.
