Harvard's Vesey wins Hobey

Harvard senior forward Jimmy Vesey has been named the 2016 Hobey Baker Award recipient.

Michigan freshman Kyle Connor, a Youngstown Phantom for three seasons, was one of the three finalists for the NCAA's top college hockey honor.

The other finalist was Boston College goaltender Thatcher Demko.

Connor, the 2014-15 USHL leading scorer, led the NCAA in goals (35) and points (71.
