Man indicted in murder of grandfather

YOUNGSTOWN

A Mahoning County grand jury indicted a Harvard Street man Thursday in the beating death of his grandfather last week.

Julius Williams, 28, is charged with a count of aggravated murder. William Cox, 87, was found beaten to death about 11:30 p.m. March 28 in their home in the 300 block of Harvard Street on the North Side. Reports said Williams called police and confessed to beating his grandfather with a hammer after an argument. He has been in the county jail since his arraignment on the charge in municipal court.

Deandre Devon Levy, 25, South Schenley Avenue, possession of heroin and trafficking in marijuana.

Jennifer Anne Wargo, 30, West Pine Lake Road, Columbiana, domestic violence and resisting arrest.

Jena K. Whittington, 23, 18th Street, Wellsville, possession of cocaine and theft.

Michael Bair, 35, Tod Avenue, Boardman, possession of cocaine.

Brandon Battle, 18, Ferndale Avenue, receiving stolen property.

Timothy Beachum, 49, Hayes Avenue, possession of cocaine.

Anthony Cleveland, 24, Chaney Circle, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, aggravated possession of drugs with forfeiture specifications and illegal conveyance of prohibited items into a detention facility.

Ricky Paige, 30, Pointview Avenue, possession of cocaine, aggravated possession of drugs and possession of heroin with forfeiture specifications.

Megan Noel, 20, Pasadena Avenue, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
