Task force, state patrol plan OVI checkpoints

CANFIELD

The Mahoning County OVI Task Force, in conjunction with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, is conducting two separate OVI checkpoints on Friday and Saturday. Officers will be conducting roadside checks of drivers at the two locations for alcohol and drug impairment. Details of specific times and locations will announced at a later time.

In addition, police officers from participating agencies of the Mahoning County OVI Task Force will be conducting saturation patrols in various parts of the county throughout the weekend.
