Nursing home resident discovers fraudulent credit card use

A Youngstown woman faces a misdemeanor charge for an incident in which a resident of a township nursing facility discovered hundreds of dollars of fraudulent charges on his debit card. 

Jeronica Wolfe, 43, of Sunset Boulevard, is charged with misuse of credit cards. She was booked on the charge by township police Wednesday and is scheduled to appear in Mahoning County Area Court here April 12. 

A police report filed March 21 details an incident in which a resident of Greenbriar Healthcare Center discovered $675 worth of fraudulent charges to his debit account. Charges were made at stores such as Victoria's Secret, Finish Line and Family Dollar, according to the report.
