PALO Creative is leveraging a comprehensive blend of new and traditional media as it puts together a regional marketing campaign for the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport’s new daily service to Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

Because of the wide audience the campaign intends to reach, it was necessary for PALO to incorporate new media along with more traditional media.

Print, billboard, online, radio and television advertising for the campaign will launch this month.

A second Mahoning Valley Family Farm and Home store opened Monday at 3850 Elm Road near the state Route 5 Bypass in a former Stambaugh Thompson store location.

Family Farm and Home is a family owned-and-operated company based in Muskegon, Mich. It has 44 stores, including one at 4477 Mahoning Ave. in Austintown.

Family Farm and Home provides a variety of products for the home and farm, including tools, hardware, automotive supplies, pet supplies, work and casual clothing, footwear, horse and livestock feed, bird food, lawn and garden supplies and alternative heating.

Scot Stover, Warren store manager, said 14 employees have been hired.

BWC maintenance

COLUMBUS

The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation will be conducting routine maintenance that will impact phone, email and Internet services Saturday.

All BWC computer services throughout the state, including phones, will be unavailable during this time. BWC’s website, bwc.ohio.gov, will not be accessible, nor will the automated phone service via 800-466-6292.

On the day of the shutdown, callers to all BWC phone lines will receive a busy signal. The website will display a static page of information explaining the outage, and there will be no access to any of the sites’ functionality.

All systems will be up and running by the start of business Monday.

Military discount
