Gill autopsy will take place Friday: Coroner

WARREN — A Trumbull County coroner will perform an autopsy Friday morning on the body of Heidi Gill, 47.

Gill died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Warren, however the hospital initially failed to report the death to the coroner's office, a coroner's office spokeswoman said. She added that the delay in reporting would not adversely affect the autopsy or the investigation.

Gill received $300,000 in 2010 after settling a lawsuit against the Warren City Police Department. The lawsuit arose after a Warren police officer repeatedly shocked her with a stun gun outside Up a Creek Tavern in 2007.
