DUI arrest in Campbell

CAMPBELL

A traffic stop Wednesday evening led to an arrest for driving under the influence.

Police stopped Howard Hurst, 55, of Youngstown near AutoZone on McCartney Road for erratic driving.

Hurst smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech and failed a series of field sobriety tests, according to a police report.

Hurst registered a blood alcohol content of 0.161, police reported. The legal limit in Ohio is 0.08.

He was released on summons to appear Friday in Campbell Municipal Court.
