Coffee roasters to host tasting

YOUNGSTOWN

Several Mahoning Valley coffee roasters will team up for a free coffee tasting Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at Friends Specialty, corner of West Federal Street and Phelps Street, downtown.

Coffees by Friends, Branch Street Coffee in Boardman and Culturehouse Coffee will participate in the tasting. Guests will learn brewing methods and sample coffee made with beans from various regions.

Specialty food makers also will be present, including chocolatier Mike Landgraff, macaron baker Gabrielle Brocker, and food pairings with Melanie Rae Buonavolonta’s So Smooth juices and Bake Me Treats.
