David Mamet’s “American Buffalo,SDRq directed by Matthew Mazuroski, Youngstown Playhouse, 600 Playhouse Lane, auditions from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and Wednesday. The show is the final production in this season’s Griffith-Adler Series. The director is looking for three men, age late teens to early 50s. All those auditioning should prepare a one- to two-minute monologue and bring a current photograph. All roles are open and will be cast based on color-conscious practices. Roles available for adults and a children’s choir, age 8 to 12. All those auditioning should be prepared to perform a vocal selection of their choice with a CD (music only, no recorded vocals), sheet music (an accompanist will be available) or sing a cappella.
