Valley Democratic lawmakers to address Kasich's state of state address

YOUNGSTOWN

Mahoning Valley lawmakers and Mahoning County officials will conduct a 3:30 p.m. news conference today at the Mahoning County Engineer’s Office in advance of Gov. John Kasich’s Wednesday state of the state address in Marietta.

In an announcement of the media event, the Ohio House Democratic Caucus said the officials will “discuss the real state of the state and outline state policy impacts on the Mahoning Valley” and “what they hope to hear from Gov. Kasich” a day before the speech by Ohio’s Republican governor and presidential candidate.

Speakers will include County Engineer Patrick Ginnetti, the three Mahoning County commissioners, State Sen. Capri Cafaro, and state Reps. John Boccieri, Michele Lepore-Hagan, Mike O’Brien, and Sean O’Brien, all Democrats.
