Organist booked for Stambaugh

Renowned organist David Enlow will come to Stambaugh Auditorium on May 15 for a 4 p.m. concert that will include music by Dvorak, Franck, Debussy, Vierne and others. He will perform on the venue’s restored 1926 E.M. Skinner pipe organ.

Enlow is the organist and choir master of the Church of the Resurrection in New York, which performs more than 50 Mass settings each season.

Enlow also serves as dean of the New York City chapter of the American Guild of Organists. He is a member of the Guild’s National Committee on Professional Certification and serves as an examiner of organists nationwide. In addition, he is the organist of the Clarion Orchestra and Repetiteur of the Clarion Choir.

Enlow holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Juilliard School in New York, and is also a member of the faculty.
