Ryan calls on U.S. to step up efforts to stop terrorism

WARREN — U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, who returned Sunday from a week in the Middle East, said today that the United States needs to step up its efforts to stop terrorism.

Ryan of Howland, D-13th, said he visited Israel, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.

Ryan said the military is doing a great job in the Middle East, but "we are wearing out our soldiers."
