Event will celebrate culture of Venice

WARREN

The food and culture of Venice, Italy, will be celebrated at the sixth annual Festa! dinner and dance sponsored by Blessed Sacrament Parish Catholic Community of Warren.

The event will be from 6 to 11 p.m. April 9 at the Trumbull Country Club, 600 Golf Drive.

The menu will consist of antipasto, pastas, greens, seafood, polenta and Italian desserts. There will be a full cash bar.

Entertainment will be provided by Franco Simone.

There will be a grand prize raffle for a one week stay at a condominium in Myrtle Beach, S.C.; second prize is a 48-inch Vizio flat-screen TV; and third prize is dinner prepared by the Rev. Tom Eisweirth.

There will be a basket auction and a 50-50 raffle.

The cost is $50 per person or $95 per couple.
