Warriors Inc. plans 12th annual parade

YOUNGSTOWN

Warriors Inc.’s 12th annual “Unity in the Community” parade is planned for 10 a.m. June 4, beginning on Market Street. The parade route will go east on Delason Avenue, then south on Erie Street to the South Field House.

Applications for participants are being accepted. The deadline is May 27.

The parade celebrates community, commercial and nonprofit groups, businesses, government agencies and pastors, politicians and community leaders.

Floats and other entries that represent the organization are encouraged, as is music. The event is open to automobiles, animals, mascots, marchers, riders and walkers. Vehicles may accompany marching units.

Applications must include fee, if applicable, and a copy of a certificate of insurance for any vehicle being used in the parade.

No water guns or super soakers will be permitted.
