SENIOR CITIZENS
• Canfield AARP 3104 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church, 140 W. Main St. Blood pressure screening will take place from noon to 12:45 p.m. Debbie Liptak, development director of the Mahoning County and Youngstown Public Libraries, will discuss library services available with an emphasis on the recently opened Canfield Library. A board meeting will be at 10 a.m. April 12 at the church. Nonmembers and guests are welcome at the meetings and bus trips. The next meeting will be May 2 with entertainment by Canfield Middle School Band. An overnight bus trip is planned for April 25 and 26 to Lancaster, Pa., to see the production of “Samson” at the Millennium Theater. Overnight accommodations, baggage handling, a family style Amish dinner, dinner at Shady Maple Buffet and a visit to Kreider Farms are included. Call Shirley at 330-337-6150 for information. • SOAR 27-2 and 27-6 Steelworkers Retirees, Local Union 1330 and 1331, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Smith Corners United Methodist Church. 3000 S. Niles-Canfield Road, Austintown. Refreshments will be served, and new members are welcome.
• Trumbull Memorial Hospital Retirees will have a luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. April 11 at Buena Vista Cafe in Warren. There will be a speaker from S.C.O.P.E. All TMH retirees and former employees are welcome. For reservations or information, call Pat at 330-847-7961.
