The Angels of Easter Seals will host its 39th annual spring fashion show and luncheon May 5 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center, 7440 South Ave. The theme will be “Kentucky Derby Run for the Roses.” The event will begin at 10 a.m. and the luncheon will be served at 11:30.

Stan Boney of 27 WKBN-TV will be master of ceremonies.

Judy Conti is fashion director for the show of spring and summer fashions presented by Chico’s of Boardman, Dillard’s of Eastwood Mall, Macy’s of Southern Park Mall, Marshalls, Ivory & Birch and Suzanne’s. Hair and makeup will be provided by Macy’s and Elizabeth Arden. Bianca Severino, a former child ambassador, will walk in the show for the 22nd consecutive year and will be escorted by Boney.

The fashion show will feature local media, Easter Seals children and Conti models. Media participants will include: Todd Franko, Nena Perkins and Barbara Shaffer of The Vindicator; Leslie Barrett, Mike Case, Kate Keller, Christa Lamendola, Lindsay McCoy, Madonna Pinkard, Derek Steyer and Steve Vesey of 21 WFMJ-TV; Julie Bercik, Alex George, Christina Mullen and Lauren Wood of WKBN; Corban Baker, Nathan Lehota and James Santelli of 33 WYTV; and A.C. McCullough and Kelly Stevens of WHOT-FM.

The event will feature a raffle with prizes which include $1,000 in cash, a $825 Framehouse Gallery portrait, $500 in cash, jewelry and other prizes. A special raffle will offer the opportunity for a guest appearance on WFMJ’s Casey Malone Show. Raffle tickets are available from any member of the Angels.

There also will be an auction in a bag event featuring a variety of gifts and a 50-50 raffle. Angels and Friends Cookbooks and gift baskets will be available for purchase.
