YAFWC meets, presents officers

CANFIELD

The Youngstown Area Federation of Women’s Clubs Inc. met March 16.

Pharmacist Dr. Paul Witkowski discussed medical marijuana and his work with the Eastern Ohio Pharmaceutical Association and the office of state senator Joe Schiavoni in presenting laws for the State of Ohio on legislation of legalizing marijuana.

Elva Easton presented the following officers for 2016-2017: president Catherine Campana, first vice president Betty Cmil, second vice president Barbara Higgins, third vice president Pat Sullivan, recording secretary Marilyn Morelli, corresponding secretary Kay Fuller and treasurer Lee Bowden.

The group will meet at 6 p.m. April 20 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield.

Guest speaker Dr. Kathleen Padgitt will discuss “Your Lifestyle — Your Health.”
