Missionaries’ visit

Missionaries’ visit

Five missionaries from the Culture Project will be speaking to teens and adults throughout the Diocese of Youngstown from Sunday through Tuesday.

The Culture Project is an initiative of young people set to restore culture through the experience of virtue.

They proclaim the dignity of the human person and the richness of living sexual integrity.

They will speak to students at Walsh University, Kent State Newman Center and Cardinal Mooney and Ursuline high schools.

A special presentation will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at Holy Family Church parish center, 2729 Center Road. The contemporary group “Simple Truth” will sing songs of praise and worship, followed by a talk on human dignity. Violations against the individual and the global community will be addressed. Suggestions will be presented to restore our culture according to God’s plan for all people.

Light refreshments will be served. There is no charge for the event, but donations will be accepted.

Men and Women United for Life and the diocesan Office of Pro-life, Marriage and Family are sponsoring this event. For information, contact Dave Schmidt at 330-744-8451.
