Jury finds Sims guilty in 2014 murder

YOUNGSTOWN — Keith Sims, 27, of Ford Avenue, was found guilty this morning in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court for the Oct. 25, 2014, death of Shaniece Wells, 23, outside a home in the 800 block of East Boston Avenue.

Jurors found Sims guilty of charges of murder and felonious assault with a firearm specification.

Jurors deliberated about an hour Thursday and 45 minutes before reaching their verdicts.
