Boardman Glenwood Middle School hosted the performance “Beauty and the Beast, Jr.” by the Boardman Glenwood Middle School drama club on March 11.
The drama club put on two performances of their play, one at 5 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. The club, directed by Mrs. Smrek, works all throughout the school year to put on a performance in March for the students, staff, families and other members in the Boardman community.
Drama club consists of students from the seventh- and eighth-grade at Boardman Glenwood. This club gives the students an opportunity to pursue their love of singing, acting and performing on stage.
The play drew in a large crowd for both performances of the night and the students received a well-deserved applause at the end for their hard-work and dedication to putting on the play.
All of the students played their part and practiced hard to receive the opportunity to do something they are passionate about to others.
