Lake Tomahawk event scheduled Saturday

The Lake Tomahawk annual 5K/1 mile fun walk is planned for Saturday and will benefit Shadow of Our Wings Orphanage and Boy Scout Troop 22 of New Waterford.

Registration is at 8 a.m., and the race begins at 9.

Register in advance at runsignup.com or ltpoa.org, or the day of the race at 8853 Pontiac Trail. Cost is $13. There will be prizes, a basket auction and goodie bags. For information, call Alissa Nixon at 330-227-9642.
