More than 14,000 expected to flock to Boardman Oktoberfestival next Sunday

BOARDMAN

The Boardman Rotary will host its annual Oktoberfestival at Boardman Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. next Sunday.

This one-day event is sponsored by Gem-Young Insurance & Financial Services, Signature Granite, Window World of Youngstown, and Vista Care Centers.

More than 14,000 people are expected visit the park to shop at the 200-plus arts and crafts vendors and to savor the fest’s food and entertainment.

All proceeds from this event will go to support local community projects, nonprofit organizations and children’s charities.

The food court, sponsored by Mary Lou Green and Youngstown State University, will feature German favorites, Roxbury pizza, a variety of Italian specialties, cinnamon rolls, Italian sausage and more.
