The Parish Life Committee of St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave., will host Sip and See, a wine taste and art show, from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Ronald McDonald charities benefit set

YOUNGSTOWN

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mahoning Valley and Western Pa. is sponsoring a 5K run/walk and a kids’ fun run and activities Sunday at Federal Plaza East downtown. Registration is at 1 p.m. The kids’ run is at 2:30, and the 5K run/walk is at 3. Free parking is at 201 E. Commerce St.

Registration is available now at www.mcdssockrun.com, and fees should be mailed to RMHC of Mahoning Valley & Western Pa., 4900 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512. The fee is $25 on race day. Packet pickup and late registration is from 1 to 7 p.m. today at Dick’s Sporting Goods, 550 Boardman-Poland Road, Boardman.

Trade your puzzles at library exchange

SALEM

Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host its Autumn Jigsaw Puzzle Exchange from Oct. 3 through 16. Only clean puzzles with all their pieces will be accepted. A ticket will be given for each puzzle donated and can be used for a replacement from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 17.
