Cristen Grimm, Darren Brush plan wedding

GIRARD

Cristen Grimm and Darren Brush, both of Masury, are engaged and planning an Oct. 17 wedding. The bride’s grandmother, June Day of Girard, is announcing their plans.

Christine Karabin of Cortland is the mother of the bride-elect, and parents of the future groom are Bob and Pam Brush of Hubbard.

The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, and a reception will follow at the Mahoning Country Club, both in Girard. Invitations are being issued for both events.

The future bride studied early childhood education at Youngstown State University and is employed as a teacher at Canfield Daycare and Learning Center.

Mr. Brush earned a degree in information technology from the University of Phoenix. He is a driver for Predator Trucking in Girard. He also is a U.S. Marine veteran who served from 2005 to 2010.
