50th anniversary dinner honors the Waterbecks

Gerald and Ella (Frease) Waterbeck of Youngstown recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a family dinner party at their home. Friends and family attended.

The couple were married in a May 11, 1965, ceremony at Hillman Street Christian Church.

The Waterbecks have five children, Keith (Deb) of Boardman, Rick (Jill) of Richmond, Ky., Pam of Youngstown, and Matt (Sarah) of Poland. A son, Greg, is deceased.

They have seven grandchildren, Jerieka, Allyson, Kaleigh, Justin, Hayden, Gregory and Julian, who is deceased.

They also have a great-grandchild, Maddix.

Mr. Waterbeck retired as a master plumber from Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 396 after 33 years.

Mrs. Waterbeck, a homemaker, also worked part time at Isaly’s. She is a member of the National 600 Bowling Club.

The Waterbecks remain active in their community, church and charitable endeavors.
