Mr., Mrs. Elias celebrate 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. William E. Elias of Austintown celebrated their 50th anniversary at a party July 5 at Marino’s Banquet Center.

Their children are Holly Krohn of Austin, Texas, and Christopher Elias of Ypsilanti, Mich. They also have one grandchild.

Mrs. Elias taught at Weathersfield Schools in Mineral Ridge and retired in 1998. Her husband taught in Youngstown City Schools and retired in 1995. He served in the U.S. Army as an officer at Fort Lewis, Wash., from 1964 to 1966.

The couple are members of St. Joseph Church.

The former Janet K. Terlecki and Mr. Elias were married June 26, 1965, at St. Christine Church in Youngstown.
