Downtown Youngstown streets to close at noon Sunday for 5K race

YOUNGSTOWN — A McDonald’s 5K Sock Run for Ronald McDonald House will affect Youngstown streets from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

These streets will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at noon: Federal Street from Walnut to Fifth avenues; Walnut from Federal to Boardman streets; Boardman from Walnut to Champion Street; Champion from Boardman to Federal; the Spring Common Bridge; Mahoning Avenue from Spring Common Bridge to West Avenue; West from Mahoning to Tod Avenue; and Tod from West to Weaver Road.
