CAMPBELL — A traffic stop Wednesday evening led to two drug-related arrests.

Police stopped a vehicle near 6th Street and Park Drive for not having a rear license plate light, according to a police report. Officers found a scale, baggies and a container with unidentified residue, the report states. Passenger Patrick Leach, 25, of Niles, said the items belonged to him, according to the report.

Police also found 0.6 grams of suspected cocaine in the socks of passenger Benjamin Peters, 23, of Youngstown, the report states. Leach was taken to Campbell City Jail and later released. He will be arraigned Tuesday in Campbell Municipal Court on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Peters is in jail without bond pending his arraignment Friday on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
