Youngstown man faces multiple charges after arrest in Campbell

CAMPBELL — Officers arrested a Youngstown man with several active warrants after a traffic stop at Fairdale Avenue and Gladstone Street earlier this week.

Police stopped Ricky Easterly, 34, for failure to stop at a stop sign and discovered that Easterly had a suspended license and several active warrants through the Mahoning County Common Pleas Court for felonious assault, illegal possession of a weapon, and possession of heroin, police said.

Police cited Easterly for driving under suspension, failure to stop at a stop sign and falsification, since police said Easterly initially gave a false name. He will be arraigned Friday in Campbell Municipal Court.
