Campbell police host 5K fundraiser Sunday

CAMPBELL — Registration is underway for the second annual Officers Down 5K run and 2K walk.

Proceeds from the Sunday event will go toward the Officers Down Memorial Page, which honors fallen police officers, the Campbell Police Department and the medical expenses of Paul White, Sr.

White was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Register online by searching “Officers Down 5K” at RunSignUp.com or register the day of after 7:45 a.m. at 635 Porter Ave. A 9:45 a.m. opening ceremony with precede the 5K and 2K races. A “Kids Fun Run” take off at 11 a.m. After the fun run, a “community day” will include food, live music, a basketball tournament and other activities.
