SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The Learning Dog Training and Enrichment Center, 757 N. Main St., Hubbard, will host an evening of fun and relaxation beginning at 6 p.m. Sunday. Guests may enjoy a glass of wine or favorite beverage while an instructor from Wonderstruck Artisans teaches techniques to use for “Pollock Night,” where participants can drip, splat and fling paint to create a work of art. The cost is $40, and registration is required. Tickets can be purchased at The Learning Dog or at the Humane Society of Columbiana County, 1825 S. Lincoln Ave., Salem. A basket raffle also will take place, and proceeds will go toward the care of Lil’ Lee, a 5-year-old Golden Retriever mix who is receiving medical treatment for a broken leg that had been left untreated.
