AUCTIONS

Immaculate Heart of Mary Social Concerns Group will host a quarter auction Oct. 17 in the parish center at 4500 Norquest Blvd. in Austintown. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the auction will begin at 7. Take a beverage and snacks for your table. Coffee, dessert, pop and water will be provided. St. Patrick School, 367 N. Main St. in Hubbard, will host its annual “Invest in Our Future” auction/raffle Saturday in the church hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the door or by calling the school at 330-534-2509. Take beverages, and light snacks will be provided. St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will have a basket auction on Oct. 4. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the drawing is at 4. The cost is $5. Only 150 to 200 tickets will be sold. Tickets will be available in the church rectory from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and after Sunday Masses until the day of the auction, and also at the door. BINGO/CARD PARTIES

Girard Eagles Auxiliary 2172 will have a card party Oct. 4 at the hall, 26 W. Wilson Ave. Doors open at noon, and a sack lunch comprised of chicken salad sandwich, potato chips and a cupcake will be served from noon to 1 p.m. Bingo will start at 1:30. The cost is $5. There will be extra games paying 50-50 and a coverall, which will pay 75 percent. There also will be door prizes and a 50-50 raffle.

CRAFT SHOWS

FESTIVALS

Friends of Beaver Creek State Park will host Pioneer Craft Days on Oct. 3 and 4 in the Pioneer Village of Beaver Creek State Park. Basket making, candle dipping, quilting, dulcimer building and woodworking skills will be displayed, with many artisans in period clothing. Antique farm equipment displays also will be offered. Food will be available, including apple butter made on-site. Space is available for crafters (all items must be at least 80% hand crafted) and antique vendors (only authentic antiques permitted). FLEA MARKETS

Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown, will host a flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and each Tuesday into October, weather permitting. Vendors can set up early in the large spaces, which cost $5 each. Refreshments are available.

FUNDRAISERS

Campbell Memorial High School Alumni Association will host a scholarship fundraiser, its annual Reverse Raffle and Dinner, on Oct. 24 at Archangel Michael Hall, 12th Street in Campbell. RAFFLES

Legacy Dog Rescue, Friends of Fido and Youngstown Dogs are planning a basket raffle from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 10 at Davidson’s Restaurant, 3636 Canfield Road, Cornersburg About 80 baskets on various themes and/or gift cards will be raffled. Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has new and gently used clothes for the entire family. New for fall (green tickets not included) is a large amount of Abercrombie & Fitch and American Eagle items for young men. September clearance is $1 each item. The hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Tuesday.

First United Methodist Church, 237 W. Silver St., Sharon, Pa., will have a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 16 and 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 17. There also will be a bake sale on Oct. 16, and Oct. 17 is $1 a bag day.

Newton Falls Assembly of God Church, 612 W. Broad St., will host vendors from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 3. Featured will be raffles, food, Tupperware, Premier Inc., Jamberry, 31, Scentsy and more. Proceeds will be used for coats and boots for local children.

St. John Greek Orthodox Church, 4955 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, will have a trash and treasure sale hosted by the church’s Philoptochos Society from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 3. New and used goods will be sold. Rentals are available for $20 for an indoor table and $10 for an outdoor trunk. Reserve by Friday.
