Veterans outreach program set for Wednesday at Youngstown VA Clinic

YOUNGSTOWN — The Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, Veterans Benefits Administration’s Cleveland Regional Office and the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery is hosting an Open House and Veteran Listening Session for veterans, family members and the public from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Youngstown VA Outpatient Clinic, 2031 Belmont Ave.

Staff from all offices will be on hand to assist veterans with specific issues or concerns and to provide information about eligibility, compensation and pension, volunteer opportunities, Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom (OEF/OIF), and the Veterans Choice program among others.

A limited number of Veterans Benefits Administration appointments will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 5 p.m.
