Man gets 4 years for aggravated arson

WARREN — Lamar Mitchell, 32, of various addresses in Warren, Niles and Youngstown, was sentenced to four years in prison this morning in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court after pleading guilty to aggravated arson and burglary.

Mitchell set fire go his girlfriend’s house on Arthur Drive Northwest in March, about 90 minutes after his girlfriend went to the Warren Police Department to report that Mitchell had assaulted her.
