67th Emmy Awards (8 p.m., Fox): Funny man Andy Samberg (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) is our host for television’s biggest bash. Among the contenders, HBO’s “Game of Thrones” leads every series with 24 nominations, including one for outstanding drama.

“Fear the Walking Dead” (9 p.m., AMC): On “Fear the Walking Dead,” the zombie plague is only getting worse in Los Angeles. Time to call in the National Guard.

“Arthur & George” (8 p.m., PBS): The limited series concludes.

Navy Band in free Stambaugh concert

YOUNGSTOWN

The U.S. Navy Band Commodores, a premiere jazz ensemble, will return to Stambaugh Auditorium Oct. 26 for a free concert at 7 p.m. Tickets are required, however, and must be obtained in advance through the Stambaugh box office.

The 18-piece Commodores combine big band jazz, vocal arrangements, and new instrumental music.

Popup art gallery in Kolb’s building

SALEM

The Salem City Arts organization is taking over the former Kolb’s building in downtown Salem next weekend for a State of Arts Gallery Popup. This three-day show, Friday through Sept. 27, will feature works by 60 regional artists in various media, including paintings, sculpture, photography and painted dresses.

There also will be children’s and student art on exhibit. Most works will be available for sale with a portion of the proceeds going to future art events in the Salem community.

The State of Arts Gallery Popup will begin with a reception for artists and invited guests on Friday from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

The John Reese Project will provide jazz music and light refreshments will be served.
