Family dinner to honor Ostoviches' 60th

A family dinner is planned for Sept. 27 to honor Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Ostovich of Struthers in celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary.

The event, by invitation, will take place at Nicolini’s Restaurant in Boardman.

The former Betty Weber and Mr. Ostovich exchanged marriage vows in 1955 at Salem Emanuel Lutheran Church.

Their children are Cynthia Semach of Delaware, Ohio; Karen Visingardi of Lowellville; Jean Ann Truxall of Columbus; and Eric Ostovich of Struthers.

The family circle also includes six grandchildren.

Mrs. Ostovich is a homemaker. She belongs to a ladies card club and the Saxon Club.

Her husband was a self-employed home builder in Mahoning County, retiring in 2006. He belongs to Dale Carnegie International, the Home Builders Association and the Saxon Club. He served three years in the U.S. Air Force engineers.

The couple belong to Poland United Methodist Church.
