Economic development plan for Youngstown to be unveiled Tuesday at Covelli

YOUNGSTOWN

Economic Development Strategies for the City of Youngstown, a project developed in partnership with Youngstown State University’s Center for Urban and Regional Studies, will be officially rolled out 1 p.m. Tuesda at the YSU Community Room of the Covelli Center in downtown Youngstown.

Major goals developed for the city based on the current economy, competitive advantages and best practices from other cities will be presented. Also presented will be a review of corridor opportunity sites and the Downtown Vision and Action plan.

Funding for the project was provided by a grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration.
