YSU defeats Saint Francis 48-3

The Youngstown State football team defeated Saint Francis 48-3 in Saturday's game at Stambaugh Stadium.

YSU took a 17-0 first quarter lead. RB Jody Webb had a 22-yard TD run and TE Shane Kuhn ran for a 1-yard TD for the Penguins. Zak Kennedy made a 22-yard field goal.

In the second quarter, Webb ran for a 20-yard TD, Hunter Wells connected with Martin Ruiz on an 11-yard TD and Kuhn ran for a 6-yard TD.

Backup QB Ricky Davis had a 4-yard TD run late in the third quarter and Kennedy made another 22-yard field goal.
