International speaker Carol Wolaver, best known as “The Pottery Lady,” will be featured at a women’s conference Oct. 2 and 3 at Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 2432 S. Raccoon Road.

“Molded by God – Mind, Body & Spirit” is the theme for the conference, which is open to the public.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. Oct. 2, and the program will begin at 6:30.

On Oct. 3, doors will open at 8 a.m. with coffee and a light breakfast, classes are at 9 for those who registered, and the speaker begins her presentation at 10. Box lunches will be available for $3.

Tickets are $10 per person for the two-day event and may be purchased at Tabernacle EPC church office; JMJ Spiritual in Cornersburg; Diamonds in the Rough Caf in Austintown; Boardman Family Christian Bookstore; and online at www.eventbrite.com/gettickets.

Wolaver brings Scripture to life with a unique and dramatic speaking style, delivering her messages while working with clay at a potter’s wheel.

She has been a potter for 32 years and a speaker for two decades, presenting her messages at thousands of churches around the country, and in Germany and Mexico.

A pastor’s wife, she has worked in children’s ministry and participated in a women’s Bible study at her home church.

She and her husband recently relocated from California to Nashville, Tenn.

In addition to the speaker, the conference will offer solutions for living in a stress-filled world.

Classes will be available in “Holy Yoga,” making natural lip balm and healthy food sampling.

Sessions will be offered twice Saturday, in the morning and afternoon, but class sizes are limited.
