Community Legal Aid seeking volunteers

YOUNGSTOWN

Community Legal Aid, a nonprofit law firm serving the civil legal needs of the low-income community, is seeking volunteers for the Volunteer Advocacy Legal Unit (VALU) program in Mahoning County.

Volunteers assist victims of domestic violence through the court process of obtaining a civil protection order.

Training for volunteers is completed in an eight-hour period and is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Legal Aid office, 11 Central Square.
