WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.

The wedding of Andrea Walters and Grant Herring, both of Winston-Salem, N.C., took place at 3 p.m. April 11 at Mount Tabor United Methodist Church in Winston-Salem.

The bride is a daughter of Dorothea Walters of Vienna and Kenneth and Roselle Walters of Girard.

Mr. Herring is a son of Bob and Carol Herring of Greer, S.C.

The Rev. Andy Lambert officiated, and a reception took place at Old Salem Visitors Center in Winston-Salem.

Begonia-colored dresses were worn by the matron of honor, Alicia Stewart, sister of the bride, and the bridesmaid, Mollie Rager. The bride’s nieces, Makenzie and Ava Stewart, were flower girls.

Josh Minthorne performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Neal Herring, the groom’s brother, and Josh Pryor and Tyler Krulla.

Mrs. Herring graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in information technology and special education. She is a special education teacher at East Forsyth Middle School in Kernersville, N.C.

Her husband holds a degree in accounting from Clemson University and is cost accounting manager at West Rock in Winston-Salem.

The couple honeymooned in Antigua and live in Winston-Salem.
