Two arraigned in Campbell on heroin, cocaine charges


CAMPBELL — A man and a woman were arraigned today in Campbell Municipal Court on drug charges.

Jessica McConnell, 30, and Daniel Robinson, 31, both of New Caste, Pa. face felony charges of possession of heroin and possession of cocaine along with misdemeanor charges for endangering children, possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments.

An officer arrested the pair after stopping a vehicle Thursday evening near McCartney Road and Sycamore Drive for objects obstructing the windshield, according to a police report. Police found 3.7 grams of suspected heroin; 1.5 grams of suspected crack cocaine; Schedule IV pills; and two hypodermic needles, the report states. A child was a passenger in the vehicle, police said.

McConnel and Robinson will face pretrials next Friday in Campbell Municipal Court.
