Thieves smash window, steal from Route 224 store

BOARDMAN — Township police are investigating a break-in at a business on U.S. Route 224.

Police responded to Tobacco City, 110 Boardman-Poland Road, early Thursday when an alarm sounded, according to a report.

Video footage reportedly shows two people fleeing the scene after one smashes out the front window.

Footage from an hour later reportedly shows a man enter the store through the broken window, and take merchandise valued at $60.
